Demi-Leigh Tebow arrives in Manila for Miss Universe Philippines 2022
By GMA NewsDemi-Leigh Tebow has arrived in Manila ahead of the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night.
The Miss Universe 2017 shared the update on her Instagram stories with a plane selfie, as well as photos while she prepared for the day’s activities.
“Mabuhay,” she wrote, adding a Philippine flag emoji. “Good morning. It’s so good to be back!”
She also posted a photo from when she crowned her successor Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
“So honored and excited to be back in the [Philippines] to be a part of the coronation of Miss Universe Philippines this weekend,” she said. “Who will be the next Miss Universe Philippines?”
Demi-Leigh, who is one of the hosts of the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night, has already bonded with the 32 candidates since her arrival in the country.
On Tuesday, Makati City candidate Michelle Dee shared a sneak peek of their time together on her Instagram stories.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, who is also hosting the event, is on her way to the country.
Demi-Leigh and Iris will host the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who is now in Manila.
Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, meanwhile, was one of the judges at the preliminaries held Wednesday.
