Beatrice Gomez does her final walk as Miss Universe Philippines

Beatrice Luigi Gomez has just done her final walk at Miss Universe Philippines 2022.

Before turning over her crown to one of the 31 candidates

, the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 walked on the stage in a dazzling purple evening gown.

“Over the course of my reign, I have grown not only as a queen but as a person,” she said.

“I have developed deeper empathy, learned how powerful women could be and saw how we can bring about change when we use our voices together.”

The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 finals night is held April 30 at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The pageant is hosted by Miss Universe titleholders Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere, and Demi-Leigh Tebow. – RC, GMA News
