Missosology drops final picks for Miss World Philippines 2022

Missosology just dropped its final picks for Miss World Philippines 2022 on Saturday.

The pageant website said the competition is a tug of war between Negros Occidental's Gwendolyne Fourniol and Makati's Ashley Montenegro.

Missosology gave the nod to Fourniol, who also joined the pageant last year.

"She's an all-around contestant with a lovely singing voice, a beauty that can turn heads, a well-proportioned body and above all, she's passionate about her charity project that focuses on providing children with equal access to education," the website said.

Montenegro, meanwhile, Missosology's pick for the Miss Supranational Philippines crown.

"She was trained by a top notch training camp and it is of little wonder why she exudes finesse and elegance onstage. Her lithe figure will become an instant hit in Poland and her interview prowess will assure her a front runner position," the website said.

Meanwhile, Missosology picked Albay's Paula Ortega for Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas and Cebu's Maria Gigante for Miss Eco Philippines.

In the pageant's preliminaries, Miss World Philippines organization released the Top 10 finalists for Top Model Competition and Beauty with a Purpose.

The Miss World Philippines 2022 will be hosted by former Miss World Philippines titleholders Katarina Rodriguez, Laura Lehmann, and Valerie Weigmann.

The coronation night is on June 5 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
