Family from Balagtas, Bulacan serves free lugaw amid flooding caused by Paeng

A family from Balagtas, Bulacan showed the spirit of bayanihan by serving lugaw to fellow residents who were affected by tropical storm Paeng.

As seen on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the Badillo family did not let the floodwaters stop them from sharing food to others in need.

The family said they will continue serving free lugaw until the floods subside.

According to them, this is their little way of making others feel that they are not alone in facing this calamity.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), 48 people were reported dead and almost one million people are affected due to Paeng.
