Celeste Cortesi shares advice to her successor ahead of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night

During the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 preliminary competition, reigning queen Celeste Cortesi offered advice to her successor who will be crowned during the upcoming coronation night.

As seen on Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 spoke to the 38 candidates.

"As long as you really stick on your principles and your values and you're guided by your purpose, you will be that kind of empowered and inspirational woman so that's really my advice," she said.

"And of course, always enjoy and really cherish every single moment because again, this, for me, has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life," she added.

At the preliminaries, the pageant sponsors gave out special awards to some of the candidates. The winners included Sparkle Star Michelle Dee from Makati, Miss Pampanga Angelique Manto, Boholana-Belgian beauty Pauline Amelinckx, and Miss Agusan del Norte Jannarie Zarzoso.

For the upcoming coronation night, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards and Xian Lim are set to host the exciting event.

The first Filipino-American Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel and Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi are the guest hosts.
