Kathryn Bernardo is equally excited and nervous for "Hello, Love, Again," the upcoming sequel of "Hello, Love, Goodbye."

In Sunday's media event for the official announcement of the film, the 28-year-old actress said she has mixed emotions about the sequel.

"Kagabi pa ako kinakabahan," Kathryn said. "It's finally happening, grabe, ngayon lang nagsi-sink in."

"Halo-halong emotions but then seeing everybody here, ramdam na ramdam namin 'yung support at excitement n'yo at 'yun 'yung nagfu-fuel sa'min," she added.

Kathryn acknowledged that it's not going to be easy to step into their "Hello, Love, Goodbye" characters after more than five years since they left them, but she expressed her excitement.

"We thought we already said our goodbyes, but here we are, saying our hellos," she said.

"Thank you so much for giving us another opportunity to [continue] the story of Ethan and Joy, this time in Canada," she added.

In the same event, Alden Richards, who is set to reprise his role as Ethan in "Hello, Love, Again," said that having a sequel to "Hello, Love, Goodbye" is a dream come true.

"'Yung pangarap na 'yun, nasa puso ko lang in the past five years, finally, ito nga, dreams do come true," he said.

"Hello, Love, Again" will follow the continuation of the story of Ethan and Joy, two struggling OFWs who met in Hong Kong and fell in love at the wrong time. Five years later, they will meet again in Canada.

The sequel, which is slated to be released in Philippine cinemas on November 13, marks GMA Pictures and Star Cinema's first film collaboration.
