Secrets to a long and happy marriage, how he won the heart of his wife, and more love tips from '24 Oras' anchor Mike Enriquez

Despite his hectic schedule, "Imbestigador ng Bayan" and "24 Oras" news anchor Mike Enriquez still manages spend quality time with his wife, Lizabeth "Baby" Yumping.

On Valentine's Day, the married couple will hear mass together for Ash Wednesday.

Kasi Katoliko kami eh, Day of Obligation. Tsaka balak kong magtrabaho. So bukas, trabaho, simba."

A day before February 14, Mike renewed his ties with GMA-7, renewing an exclusive contract with the network and during the press conference, he shared a few tips on how he and his wife are able to maintain a happy marriage, 40 years on.

"Oh yes, nagde-date.

"Yes. We maintained it partly by design and partly because we started as friends before we became mag-girlfriend-boyfriend, before we became married. We first  became good friends, then we became best friends, then we became sweethearts, then we became husband and wife. So we went through the mill," Mike continued.

Another key, the broadcaster added, is to not take each other "seriously" in the relationship and that a good humor is important.

"'Yung humor, tsaka we're not too serious with ourselves. Never. As much as possible, wala lang, just try to be ordinary people, and that's what attracted me to her."

What Mike loves about his wife, is her simplicity. She's very "low-maintenance," he says.

Mike was still only a radio DJ when he was courting Baby, and to win her heart, he would play the songs she requested to him.

Single this Valentine's? Mike said to "just enjoy, enjoy your youth. Many many times especially as your age progresses, you will always go back [to your youth]."

And for couples this day of hearts? "Stay friends, just friends, you'll be okay." — LA, GMA News
