Super dad Drew Arellano runs through EDSA to catch Baby Primo before bedtime

Drew Arellano, kindly accept this Super Dad Award.

The travel show host ran through EDSA just to be able to catch his son Baby Primo and play with him before the boy’s 7:30pm bedtime — a schedule he tries to adhere to.

On Instagram Stories Thursday, Drew documented his out-of-this-world undertaking.

He was coming from a “Biyahe Ni Drew” shoot in Quezon when they hit EDSA 6:30pm rush hour traffic, Drew said. “The old endurance athlete took over and decided to get out of the van and start running.”

Speaking to GMA News Online, Drew said he started at Ayala and ran all the way to Ortigas Center, where they live. “I did it in 40 minutes,” he said.

He started in the Ayala overpass at 6:46pm, got to Kalayaan at 6:53pm, managed to observe life on the highway (“They sell things on EDSA,” he notes at one point) and callout a sponsor.
