The end of August is the start of something new for Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan.

Olivia and her partner Jay Hector on Thursday posted photos of their engagement. Hector did a classic down-on-one-knee proposal and Olivia had tears in her eyes as she said yes to the love of her life.

"He got down on one knee and asked if I could love him forever," Olivia shared. In a separate post, Olivia revealed that Hector helped design the Parcel & Stone engagement ring he gave her.

I have fondly looked at you, knowing your naked hand needed a little something extra. I asked you to be my forever, your answer was everything & more I could have wished for... @theoliviajordan SHE SAID YES! ????????• The most perfect ring from @parcel.and.stone captured by @katemoorephoto at the @alcazarps • A day I’ll never forget???? • • • • • #engaged #shesaidyes #beautiful #engagementring #howheasked #love #engagementphotos #mylove

Olivia's fellow beauty queens Miss World 2013 Megan Young and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa joined the celebration of the happy occasion.

Both extended their congratulations, adding to the many heart emojis populating the comments section.

Filipino pageant fans fell in love with Olivia as a supportive friend to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

Olivia, second runner up during the competition, was standing next to Pia when the infamous announcement mix-up happened and she whispered to the Filipina beauty queen that it seems that she's about to be crowned as the real Miss Universe. The two became roomies in New York. — AT, GMA News
