My dad did not have a weak heart. Of all the words I can describe my dad: humble, gentle, kind, sincere, patient, joyful, selfless - none of which a man with a lesser heart could be. He never asked for a better seat at the table, never wanted a higher position; he never had any other agenda but to serve wholeheartedly. And though my heart breaks for the sudden loss of my dad, I know that Daddy would tell me to have faith - to trust that God’s timing is perfect - and to take comfort in Him. My dad’s heart is not the reason why he left us, it is the reason why he will always be remembered. Eribert “Ebet” A. Sapida June 26, 1953 - October 9, 2018 Rest in peace Daddy. I love you.
