Motorcyclist offers to ferry students in exchange for prayers

Amid the Metro Manila's traffic and public transportation problems, motorcyclist Michael Vinuga offered to ferry students to Quezon City's Cubao district and all he wanted in exchange was prayers for his ill five-year-old son.

According to Sandra Aguinaldo's Saturday report on Balitanghali weekend, Vinuga's son, Marcus, was in hospital because of pneumonia.

Divina, VInuga's wife, was surprised by her husband's offer. Nevertheless, she was thankful for the prayers and she was convinced that these helped her son recover.

"Maraming salamat at napagaling natin si Marcus dahil sa prayers nila," Divina said. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
