How to protect your relationship from 3rd parties, according to feng shui expert

Although the turn of the new decade brings in strong love energy for everyone, couples are prone to third parties interfering in their relationships, according to feng shui expert Johnson Chua.

In a Thursday interview on Unang Hirit, Chua listed down some feng shui-inspired practices that couples may want to follow to strengthen their romantic relationships in 2020.

1. Display a Hanging Love Charm on the bedroom door

This love charm is not just shaped like a heart. It also has an "anti-evil eye" to drive away all the temptations, negative harm and third parties.

Chua added that the love charm can also be attached to a bed's headboard, to be positioned in the middle of the couple as they sleep.

2. Wear matching Love Protector bracelets

Similar to how friendship bracelets work, the Love Protector bracelets come in twos and they are meant to be worn by the couple.

Unlike other accessories, these unique bracelets sport a "feng shui charm" design. The bracelets have black and green hues.

Each bracelet have a colored stone in the middle, which represents the couple's anniversary month. This is done for couples wearing the bracelets to remember their relationship with each other.

At the opposite side of the anniversary stone are three rhodonite stones.

"Rhodonite is for healing, love; to heal 'yung unconditional love. Pag meron silang misunderstanding or hindi nakikipagunawaan, mas mabilis na maayos," Chua explained.

3. Display a happy couple picture in a frame facing the southwest direction of the house

The feng shui expert recommends couples to display their anniversary or wedding pictures, instead of family pictures. The images must be facing the southwest direction of the house.

Chua believes in the saying that pictures held a lot of energy so the chosen image picture must embody the happiness of the couple.

For him, there must also be two Mandarin ducks placed beside the photo. Mandarin ducks, in Chinese culture, are popular symbols of love and fidelity. Apart from these symbolic creatures, Chua recommends a fox statue placed beside the two ducks. According to him, the fox wards off third-parties and protects the couple. —Angelica Y.
