Kara David shares ‘Crash Landing on You’ moment with husband at airport

Kara David and her husband LM Cancio had a "Crash Landing on You" moment when she picked him up from the airport.?

In an Instagram post, the award-winning news anchor and documentarist shared that her husband had just come home from a long trip for work, but they kept their distance and exchanged "no hugs and kisses."

Kara, who posted a selfie with LM at the airport parking lot, couldn't help but compare the scenario to an iconic scene involving the two lead characters in the Korean drama "Crash Landing on You."?

“Capt Ri at Yoon-Seri lang ang peg (laugh emoji) may linya talaga sa gitna hahaha."

Kara then explained they merely observed "social distancing" as LM was to go through a 14-day quarantine as a precaution against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"Husband just came back from a 7-month contract with a cruise ship. I always pick him up at the airport. But today, we will drive separate cars and go home to 2 separate houses," she wrote in the caption.

"Social distancing. No hugs nor kisses. Just happy that he’s back. He will now be on 14day isolation/self-quarantine."

Authorities have been advising everybody to observe social distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19.

President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the country under a state of calamity, and Luzon under an enhanced community quarantine to curb the spread of the disease.

The Philippines has a total of 501 confirmed cases as of Tuesday morning. —
