This Pinoy couple in US found ways for guests to 'attend' their wedding amid pandemic

Two Filipinos in the United States were still able to get married in the presence of all their friends and family amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to a report on "Unang Balita," Hazel and Paul tied the knot in a Tenessee church where only a total of 14 people were physically there.

The rest of their guests were able to "attend" the ceremony via Zoom and photos that were stuck onto the pews.

GMA News was able to chat with the happy couple in an interview aired on "Saksi."

"The pandemic will make you realize a lot of things. It will make you realize that tomorrow is never promised," Hazel said.

The threat of COVID-19 has discouraged, even banned, mass gatherings in nations around the world, including weddings.
