‘Bawal Judgmental’ contestant comes out as gay during ‘Eat Bulaga’ segment

A contestant of Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment on Thursday announced proudly to the world that he was part of the LGBT community.

Lawyer Klinton Torralba, a cum laude graduate and a Bar topnotcher, came out as gay on national television and sent his love to his family.

“Ma and Pa... I just want to unburden myself and my family of this dilemma so here I am. I know for a fact that you’ll accept me. I will never stop making you proud,” Klinton said.

“Sure ako na bilang abogado alam nyong pinaglalaban ko lagi ang iba pero sa pagkakataong ito sana hayaan nyong ipaglaban ko naman ang sarili ko.”

Sharing his experience to the world, Klinton reached out to the LGBT community and said they would always be loved, accepted and celebrated.

As some of the “Eat Bulaga!” hosts began tearing up, Paolo Ballesteros, who also came out last year, said: “With achievements or wala, I’m sure very proud sila sa ’yo. Dahil wala naman yan sa pagkatao. Kailangan mabuting tao.” – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
