Sunshine Cruz got a sweet note from BF Macky Mathay on her birthday
Sunshine Cruz turned 43 on Saturday in the company of family, friends, and boyfriend Macky Mathay.
Posting a group shot of their intimate birthday celebration, Sunshine thanked the seven people with her in the frame and said "mahal ko kayo."
In another post, Sunshine revealed that the little gathering was also a reunion of sorts with her daughters Sam, Angelina, and Cheska.
While the cake Macky was holding in the group shot looks delicious, it was his open letter to the birthday celebrant that got us.
"I would always imagine getting to know Papa Danny, spending time with him because of how much I appreciate your parents. If not for him and Mama Alma there wouldn’t be a MY Sunshine!" read a portion of Macky's letter.
Recalling a presumably crazy year, Macky said Sunshine was the one constant thing in his life.
"Everything fell into place when I met you. You know this because I always say it all the time and that is, for me it is just you and our 6 angels! I am inspired everyday because of you!" He continued.
"Macky will never be Macky without his 'My Sunshine'. Birthday wishes of a life filled with love, peace and happiness," he wrote adding, "I’ll make sure of that!"
