Iya Villania introduces daughter Alana on ‘24 Oras’

Iya Villania gave “24 Oras” viewers a cute surprise Tuesday as she ended her “Chika Minute” segment by presenting her newborn daughter Alana!

“That’s it for my chika from home, ako po si Iya Arellano with Alana Arellano! Say hi!” Iya said as she raised baby Alana on camera.

Her co-anchors Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, and Atom Araullo shared her excitement and greeted Alana on her television debut.

As reported by Nelson Canlas, Iya had been sharing photos and videos of Alana together with her dad Drew Arellano and her brothers Primo and Leon since giving birth two weeks ago.

Yesterday she also shared on Instagram a postpartum photo of herself, saying her “body isn’t where I want it to be but I’m okay with that.”

As of writing, the post has received more than 120,000 likes.

The “Chika Minute” host returned to her duties on the newscast just nine days after a healthy delivery.

Yesterday she also appeared on the new episode of “Mars Pa More,” which would have a weeklong anniversary celebration. – RC, GMA News
