Kylie Padilla, Aljur Abrenica admit early stage of their relationship was 'toxic'

Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica opened up about their relationship as a couple in their latest vlog.

Addressing an assumption that they had a toxic relationship at the start, Kylie did not deny it and said she was dependent on Aljur to fix her feelings.

"If I feel sad nasa kanya, dapat ayusin niya. So during the beginning of our relationship on my side, dun ako nahirapan na hindi pala dapat ganon ang relationship," she said.

Aljur said he noticed how he would always take responsibility for Kylie in those early days.

"Inaral ko bakit ako ganon ang tawag doon superman complex," he said.

Kylie said when they separated, they grew and became more mature.

"Nung naghiwalay tayo, nag-grow ako din bilang tao para din mas maging maayos din ako na tao baka kasi wrong timing lang nun," Kylie said.

She said when they met again they now fully accept each other, flaws and all.

"Yes ngayon we do have our own individualities, marami kaming nadi-discover pa sa sarili namin, sa isa't isa," she said.
