Kevin Alas and Selina Dagdag are married!

PBA player Kevin Alas and courtside reporter Selina Dagdag are now husband and wife.

The couple, who got engaged last year, announced that they married on Tuesday in a civil ceremony.

In photos posted on their Instagram accounts, the two looked dashing in a suit and white dress as they tied the knot.

"A Church Wedding is what we originally planned but we always remind each other that God is sovereign, and that He is in control of everything," Kevin said. "What's important is our love for each other."

Selina said they held a small celebration afterwards in their new home, surrounded by their immediate family.

"It was the most effortless get together - my brother played the piano, my sister brought beautiful flowers, we ordered in food, we drank lots of wine, we dipped our feet in the pool," she said.

"No frills. It was the simplest celebration, but the most joyful and peaceful one. I still can't get over it."

The couple said they are looking forward to celebrating with everyone in their church wedding next year.
