How the pandemic affected Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo's relationship

For Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, the coronavirus pandemic has brought them closer as a couple.

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," the pair found themselves in a really good place as they returned to work on "I Can See You: Truly, Madly, Deadly."

The two Kapuso stars previously said it was easier for them to act on-screen as a couple

"Ngayon kasi hindi na kami nag-aaway. Dati away kami nang away sa set," said Jennylyn.

Dennis said they now enjoy working together probably thanks to all the time they spent with each other amid the community quarantine.

He also said their bond is now stronger after everything they have gone through. 

"Sa relasyon namin, naging masuwerte kami dahil feeling ko kahit ano pang dumaan sa buhay namin, kaya na naming malagpasan," he said. 

Before the lockdown, the couple had a successful Valentine concert inspired by the "Co-Love" series on Jennylyn's YouTube channel. —MGP, GMA News
