Mother Kween, Lloyd Cadena’s mom, explains ‘mysterious voice’ heard in recent vlog

Lloyd Cadena, a beloved vlogger, passed away just this September.

In a recent vlog by Lorita, Lloyd’s mom who is also known as Mother Kween, a mysterious voice was said to be heard in the background. Netizens claimed that the mysterious voice was Lloyd’s.

In a “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” episode on Sunday, Lorita explained the mysterious sound on the video. This is Lorita’s first TV interview after her son died.

“Once lang napanaginipan ko siya pero masaya naman siya kasi baby siya nang napanaginipan ko, ’yung parang angel na siya (I dreamt of him once, but it seemed like he was happy. He was a baby when I dreamt of him, like an angel),” Lorita shared.

Although Christmas wouldn’t be the same anymore, Lorita shared that she remained strong for her three other children.

“Nung nabalitaan kong patay na si Lloyd parang hindi pa ako naniwalang nangyari ’yun kasi syempre nagte-text pa kami sa gabi (When I found out Lloyd was gone, I couldn’t believe it because we texted every night),” Lorita said.

“Wala naman kasi hindi ko naman ine-expect kasi na hindi na siya makauwing buhay, eh, kaya wala kaming pinag-usapan. At saka si Lloyd kasi malihim. Hindi siya nagsasabi sa akin kasi ayaw niyang malungkot ako (I didn’t expect that he wouldn’t be able to come home anymore, we haven’t talked about anything. Lloyd was secretive. He wouldn’t tell me things because he didn’t want to make me sad),” she added.

Although she wouldn’t have moments with her son anymore, Lorita said she didn’t have regrets.

“Hindi ako nanghinayang, kumbaga hiniram lang naman natin ’yung buhay natin. Kung kailan tayo kukunin ng Panginoon e wala naman talaga tayong magagawa. Syempre mahal siya ng Panginoon kaya siguro kinuha na siya (I don’t have regrets, since our lives are not our own. We just borrowed them from the Lord. So when the time comes, we can’t do anything about it. Of course God loves him so much, maybe that’s why he was taken away),” she said.

In a recent vlog by Lorita, a muffled voice could be heard saying something similar to “Ma!” and “Nahihirapan ako. (I’m having a hard time.)” Netizens speculated that it might be Lloyd’s voice.

“Nababasa ko lang sa mga comment nila. Saka ano naman siguro ’yun, kasi may isa rin naman ako kasing anak dito na habang nagshu-shoot kami, kinakausap din niya ako kasi umiiyak kasi ako nun, e (I just read it in their comments. It just might be because I have another child here and while we were shooting the video, he was talking to me because I kept crying),” Lloyd’s mom explained.

She added: “Ewan ko kung totoo ’yun dahil hindi ko naman din kasi narinig. ’Yung mga sabi-sabi lang. Ewan ko kung dinagdagan din nila o whatever (I don’t know if it’s true because I also didn’t hear it. I don’t know if they just added it).”
Lorita also shared that they’re planning to build a mausoleum where Lloyd’s fans could visit.

Speaking to Lloyd, Lorita expressed how grateful she was to him for everything he did for the family and their neighbors. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
