Megan Young and Mikael Daez hilariously recreate 'Titanic' scene in Boracay
Megan Young and Mikael Daez just shared a hilarious moment behind all their dreamy vacation photos from a recent Boracay getaway.
In a short video posted by Mikael on Instagram, the couple are seen having a romantic time paddleboarding until the board suddenly tips over and plunges both of them into the water.
Somehow, Bonez and Fofo both saw it as the perfect opportunity to recreate that iconic scene from "Titanic."
"We fell! Na-Titanic kami!" Mikael said.
"Bonez, ako si Rose! Goodbye!” He added, while jokingly trying to push Megan off the board.
After several attempts and uncontrollable laughter, the couple finally got back on the board with Megan as the "bangkero."
"So this is the truth behind our vlogs and snazzy photos," Mikael captioned the video.
"Two water monkeys hanging around the middle of the ocean on a chunk of plastic while trying to recreate epic movie scenes. But really, hindi kami makatayo at the same time. And that one lucky moment that we did, I made the most out of it," he added. Mikael used the hashtag #BangkeroBonez to accompany his post.
Megan and Mikael, who have been together for more than 10 years, just celebrated their first wedding anniversary this month. The couple are also moving to a new place in Subic after spending most of their newlywed days locked down in a Metro Manila condominium. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
