Dominique Cojuangco films parents Gretchen and Tonyboy as they share the key to their 27-year relationship

Gretchen Barretto and partner Tonyboy Cojuangco have been together for 27 years — no mean feat, especially for celebrity couples hounded by the spotlight and controversies.

On Instagram, Gretchen happily shared a video taken by their daughter Dominique, wherein she "interviewed" her parents about their relationship.

The 25-year-old Dominique first began by asking "how long they've been together."

Gretchen replied "27" as she smiled proudly at Tonyboy.

When Dominique asked for their tip on how to stay together for as long as they have, Gretchen let her partner speak.

"Always agree with the mama," Tonyboy gamely answered. "The mama is always right," he added.

In the caption, Gretchen wrote, "I'm the mama."

In an Instagram Live video in 2018, Gretchen admitted that she is a mistress.

"For the past 23 years or almost 24 years, opo, kabit po ako ni Tonyboy Cojuangco. I never denied it,” she said.

“I am happily his kabit. I am happily his mistress. I have a man who loves me unconditionally,” she added.

Despite being together for nearly 30 years, Gretchen and Tonyboy have yet to tie the knot, making their 27 years even more incredible. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
