Ai-Ai delas Alas to those without Valentine’s dates: ‘Hintay lang; nakita niyo naman ako’

Ai-Ai delas Alas is encouraging everyone who will be spending Valentine’s Day alone to never lose hope when it comes to love.

The Kapuso Comedy Concert Queen, who is starring in GMA’s upcoming rom-com “Owe My Love,” cited her own lovelife as proof that good things come to those who wait.

“Nako ’wag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa! Nakita niyo naman ako, di ba?” she told the press during a Zoom conference on Friday.

The cast of “Owe My Love” were asked to give some advice to those who didn’t have dates for Valentine’s Day.

Ai-Ai, who is almost 30 years older than her husband Gerald Sibayan, encouraged them to wait patiently.

“Sino namang mag-aakala na makakapag-asawa pa ako? Nakita niyo naman asawa ko, bagets!” the actress told reporters.

“So hintay-hintay niyo pa rin, baka naman hindi pa pinapanganak ’yung magiging jowa niyo,” she joked.

Ai-Ai and Gerald became a couple in 2014 and tied the knot in 2017.

The actress, host and comedian, who had been married twice before, told reporters on Thursday that she had been happy for the past seven Valentine’s Days.

“Di ba, pang third husband ko na si Gerald tapos ’yung mga hindi magagandang pangyayari sa buhay ko, parating natataon ’yun ng pa-Christmas, ganyan, so ’di ba, after Christmas, Valentine’s? So parating medyo malulungkot ’yung Valentine’s ko,” Ai-Ai shared.

“Pero ngayon, pinalaan siguro [ako] ni Lord, happy na ako, for seven years, ang Valentine’s ko,” she added. – RC, GMA News
