Matteo Guidicelli marks first anniversary with Sarah Geronimo

Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo have been married for one year and on Instagram, Sarah G's husband simply had to mark the occasion.

 "Love, happy 1st anniversary! Look at our family!" He began, as he posted a photo of himself and Sarah with their three dogs.

Thanking the singer for the joy in their home, Matteo said Sarah is "the reason why I smile when we wake up."

"You continue to inspire me everyday and I just love celebrating life with you," he continued.

"So proud of you my love! I love you forever," he ended his excited note, tagging Sarah and using the hashtags #proudhusband and #blessed.

The couple's wedding a year ago was marked with controversy as Matteo allegedly punched a security detail at the wedding after Sarah's mom, Divine, appeared at the ceremony. This was how the public learned of the wedding.

In a later post, he confirmed that yes, they exchanged I Do's, and no, he didn't punch anyone.
