Heart Evangelista spends late birthday celebration with orphaned kids in Sorsogon

Although Heart Evangelista already marked her birthday last week, she made a point to celebrate it again, this time with orphaned children in Sorsogon.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the actress shared several photos of herself hugging the kids and giving them presents.

"Meaningful moments that matter the most," she wrote. "Spent a day with the lovely kids and sisters of the Jardin de Maria Orphanage here in Sorsogon for a late birthday celebration."

This isn't the first time Heart has reached out to give love and support to others. When Typhoon Ulysses hit the country, Heart put her favorite designer pieces on auction with proceeds to be donated to the typhoon victims.

She also said that she'll match what she earned from the auction and donate the same amount from her own savings.

When the pandemic hit the country last year, Heart also created the Big Heart PH project, which gave free tablets to students as they shift to online learning.
