Nicolas Cage ties knot for fifth time, marries GF Riko Shibata

Nicolas Cage is a married man once again!

The "National Treasure" actor tied the knot with his girlfriend Riko Shibata in a Las Vegas wedding, making this his fifth marriage.

According to a PEOPLE report on Friday, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony at Wynn Hotel held on February 16 to "honor the birthday of the groom's late father."

"It's true, and we are very happy," Nicolas told PEOPLE in a statement.

The 57-year old actor wore a Tom Ford tuxedo while Riko wore a handmade Japanese Bridal Kimono as they exchanged both Catholic and Shinto vows.

After the wedding, the couple had a small celebration with Nicolas' former wife Alice Kim and their son Kal-El.

Nicolas and Riko met in Shiga, Japan more than a year ago. The couple was photographed for the first time together back in February 2020.

Prior to his latest wedding, Nicolas had a four-day marriage with Erika Kooke in March 2019. They got a divorce two months after.

Nicolas was also married to Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
