Sharon Cuneta says Fanny Serrano is alive, slams ‘fake news’ spreaders

Sharon Cuneta has expressed her dismay over “fake news” circulating on social media that celebrity stylist Fanny Serrano had passed away.

On Thursday, Sharon shared a screenshot of a post saying goodbye to Fanny and telling him to rest in peace.

According to the Megastar, she called up Fanny’s nurse, who put her on speaker so she could talk to the veteran stylist, even though he could not answer.

“Buhay pa siya (he’s still alive). And to those who have nothing better to do, this is not the time to be assholes okay? Sorry pero ang sasama nyo (but you’re mean)!” she wrote in the caption.

She shared on March 16 that the stylist suffered a “massive stroke” and was brought to the hospital.

The Megastar also lamented the death of her fashion designer Rocky Gathercole and called on her fans and loved ones to continue praying for Fanny’s recovery.

Fanny is a longtime stylist to some of local showbiz’s biggest stars and is known as one of the “pioneers of beauty” in the industry.
