Tom Rodriguez thanks Carla Abellana for saying 'yes' to him

Tom Rodriguez thanked his now-fiancée Carla Abellana for giving him her sweet "yes" when he asked for her hand last year.

On Instagram, Thursday, Tom shared several photos and a video of the moment he dropped down on one knee and gave Carla her ring.

The Kapuso actor expressed his gratitude those who made his proposal

"Not a day goes by that I don't manage to find a new aspect of Venus in you... but in that moment, as I got lost in your eyes... I knew words haven't been invented yet to describe what I was seeing," he wrote.

Tom and Carla first announced their engagement on Sunday through their Instagram accounts.

The couple plans to hold their classic-style church wedding this year once the country's current situation gets better.
