Sam Pinto, Anthony Semerad reveal baby's name and gender on Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad revealed they will be having a baby girl for their first child!

In the video, Sam and Anthony also revealed the name of their baby: Mia Aya Semerad.

Anthony explained, "Because we really love the ocean, Mia is the queen of the ocean so it’s the perfect name. Aya means — it's a very lucky name."

Sam said it had to be a "beachy" name since she and Anthony both love the beach.

The actress revealed they were at first planning to have a baby after two years so when she found out she was pregnant, Sam had "mixed emotions," admitting she was "happy and scared all at the same time."

Sam will be 23 weeks pregnant and that she is due anytime from August 15.

The couple said it might fall at the same time as Baby Cooper,  the son of Anthony's twin David and his wife Gwen Zamora.

"Baka same time kasi anytime from August 8, tapos ng yung 39th week," Sam said in the video.

On May 5, Sam and Anthony announced they are expecting their first child!

Sam and Anthony got engaged in November 2019 and tied the knot last March 8.

They're planning to get married for the second time with a "semi-bigger wedding" this December.
