Janella Salvador shares maternity photos for the first time for Mother's Day

Janella Salvador marked Mother's Day by sharing her maternity photos for the first time.

On Instagram, the actress posted regal photos of herself wearing a long beautiful floral dress back when she was still sporting a baby bump.

She wrote, "There are no words to perfectly describe what being a mum is like so far— but one thing I have learned is that although I may have somehow lost myself, I gained my purpose."

Janella gave birth to Baby Jude last October in the United Kingdom. She and her partner Markus Paterson only announced the news last January.

According to Janella, she decided to keep her pregnancy a secret since she knew there was going to be a lot of harsh criticism and she wanted a peaceful and happy pregnancy. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
