Megan Young, Mikael Daez ask Kryz Uy and Slater Young for advice on having a baby

Megan Young and Mikael Daez asked Kryz Uy and Slater Young for advice on having a baby in the couple's Skypodcast episode.

The Kapuso couple, who have been openly holding conversations about having children straight up asked Kryz and Slater for some tips and things to expect once they have a baby.

"It really changes the dynamic of the relationship by far more than having your own home [because] when we were building the house [we also have] conflict from time to time very rarely," Slater told Megan and Mikael.

"[When you have a child] it's not just Kryz being my wife [she's also a mother] so [she has a lot of roles to play], she also has to work she has to have enough energy to feed the baby everything," Slater added.

Slater said he personally viewed it as if he is the person who takes care of Kryz while she takes care of their son Scottie.

"But you have to be understanding, bro. Sometimes you have no idea where the sudden tears come from," he said in a mix of English and Filipino.

Kryz added that "postpartum [depression] is real."

Meanwhile, Kryz said when she gave birth she felt like she dropped Slater. "I'm like I'm a mother first, wife second," she said.

"And sometimes he wonders like why isn't she here with me, why isn't she spending, why isn't she taking care of me?" Kryz said.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm too busy being a mom that sometimes when I need to put a wife hat since our baby is not even one, it's so hard to kambyo," she added.

Kryz said she would sometimes think to herself, "How can I be a wife, I'm covered in drool, I'm so tired... I don't feel pretty."

Kryz and Slater told Megan and Mikael that it's definitely an adjustment.

"It's part of being first time parents but I think everybody has to go through it," Slater told Megan and Mikael.

Slater said having a baby is also "something that would make you guys stronger  as a couple."

For Slater, he said it inspired him even more to succeed because he wants to be an excellent role model.

Mikael then asked the couple now that in hindsight, he asked, "What do we gain by waiting, what do we gain by having a baby now?"

He also asked them what they would have done if you had their baby two years from now or two years earlier.

Kryz said they thought it was the perfect time since they have already done  things they want to do as a couple and have enjoyed their time together just the two of them.

"It's really the most beautiful kind of love, the love that a baby brings, [it's different, I cannot paint it]," Kryz told the Kapuso couple.

It seems like Mikael and Megan have taken down notes!

Last year, Mikael and Megan said they are in no rush to have a baby.

The couple shocked the world in January 2020 when they announced that they were already married days after the intimate ceremony happened. They also hid the fact that they have been engaged since 2014.

Meanwhile, Kryz and Slater welcomed their first child together, Baby Scottie, in June 2020.
