Derek Ramsay knew he wanted to marry Ellen less than a month after knowing each other

By now, everybody knows Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna's love story: how they met at a dinner in January, how they were officially a couple by February, their sloppy first kiss, their out-of-town trips, and how by end of March, they got engaged.

But in Vicki Belo's vlog, a new detail about Derek and Ellen's romance popped up: how Derek knew he wanted to Marry Ellen less than a month after knowing her.

According to the doctor of the stars, Derek phoned her and said, "This is the girl. I'm really going to propose. I'm getting married, Vicks."

"How long have you known her?" Vicki recalled asking Derek.

"Three days and it will be one month," Derek replied.

"So if you're telling me that you guys didn't kiss until after one month, then that means he wanted to marry you before you kissed?" Vicki quizzed the couple.

"There was just an instant connection," Derek replied seriously.

"So you haven't even kissed and you wanted to marry her na?" Vicki asked again.

"You knew that you were going to marry me before we kissed?" Ellen asked piping in shyly.

"Yeah," Derek said before clarifying to Vicki, "I didn't know that we were gonna get married. I just knew I wanted to marry her."

According to Ellen, before Derek's surprise proposal, they would talk about marriage. "And then he would tell me, mga three times," Ellen said.

The two met at a New Year's dinner, where their instant connection made showbiz headlines. The meeting was immediately followed by sightings on out-of-town trips, and then a Valentine's dinner and finally, an admission that they were together.
