John Lloyd Cruz gets sweet Father's Day surprise from son Elias

John Lloyd Cruz got the sweetest surprise from his son with Ellen Adarna, Elias, for Father’s Day.

In an Instagram story uploaded by account @solcerio, Elias was seen handing the actor a Father’s Day card along with a bracelet made with shells.

The post has expired but fan account @jlc_bea4ever was able to secure a copy and share it.

Touched by the gesture, John Lloyd could only utter the words “thank you” and “the best.” To which, Elias replied with a cute “you’re welcome.”

They hugged after and when John Lloyd asked for a high five, Elias gave him a kiss instead.

Several photos were also shared by the fan account, crediting the Instagram accounts of sources who came with John Lloyd and Elias on the trip.

According to a Pep.ph report, the father and son flew to Boracay on Monday for a vacation and a triple celebration for Father’s Day and their birthdays.

John Lloyd is turning 38 on June 24 while Elias will celebrate his third birthday on June 27.

Last Sunday, John Lloyd also marked the occasion with a sweet black and white photo of him carrying Elias on his shoulder.
