Jopay Paguia, Joshua Zamora mourn death of pet dog Kobe

Jopay Paguia and Joshua Zamora are in mourning after losing one of their pet dogs, Kobe.

Jopay shared the sad news on Thursday with a series of photos from the burial, which showed Kobe surrounded by flowers as he was laid to rest.

“Yesterday morning, our fur baby Kobe passed away,” she wrote. “Kobe is 14 [years] old. He is sweet and super clingy. He’s one of our eldest dogs.”

“Thank you, Kobe, for dying peacefully,” she added. “Our pets never really leave us. They live on in memories of the love and devotion they gave us.”

Jopay also told her “darling” to run free. “Mommy and daddy love you so much.”

Joshua, meanwhile, posted a closeup photo of Kobe on Wednesday.

“You’ll be [missed], our dear Kobe. Time to rest. Ashton will miss you even though you fight. Love you, Kobe,” he wrote in a mix of English and Filipino.

In another Instagram post, Joshua shared a photo from 2014 where Jopay and all their 10 dogs were seen together. According to him, only two of the dogs remained.

“These are all the dogs that were with us since 2006 but now, Ashton and Kiara are the only ones still living. Kobe has left us yesterday,” he wrote. “We miss all of them.”
