Leni Robredo posts throwback photo with Jesse on 34th wedding anniversary

Vice President Leni Robredo on Saturday marked her 34th wedding anniversary with former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo by posting a throwback photo.

"Celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniversary today. We celebrated our 25th with a family trip. Two months after, he was gone," she wrote on Facebook.

"It has been 9 years. But we still feel his presence everyday," the Vice President added.

Robredo shared a photo of the two of them near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France taken years ago when they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Jesse died in a plane crash off Masbate in August 2012.

VP Leni was still a law student when she met Jesse. They married a few months after they met.

They have three children, Jessica Marie "Aika", Janine Patricia "Tricia" and Jillian Therese. —KG, GMA News
