Heart Evangelista remembers 2009 trip when she saw husband Chiz at the airport and later found out he saw her, too

Heart Evangelista took to Instagram to post a photo from a 2009 trip when she remembered seeing her now husband Chiz Escudero at the airport.

"I remember this trip so well. I think I was 24," she wrote on an Instagram Stories post.

"I saw Chiz at the airport smoking section!" she added.

Heart said she"didn't even care if it was stuffy," adding she "totally waited there for my flight. He was on his laptop (snob) Little did I know..."

In her next Instagram Stories post, Heart shared an unearthed tweet from Chiz, revealing that he noticed Heart, too.

"Already at the airport and guess what... Heart Evangelista is here!!" Chiz wrote on Twitter.

The said tweet was dated December 6, 2009.

On Twitter, a netizen reposted the IG Stories and wrote, "So I guess I have to travel?" tagging Heart.

Heart and Chiz met through late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago. She admitted to dating Chiz in September 2012.

The couple tied the knot on February 15, 2015 in Balesin Island.
