Hidilyn Diaz has a Chavacano online family reunion on 'Unang Hirit'

The Philippines' first-ever Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz is finally home, and her family was certainly very happy to see her.

Well, virtually at least.

The 30-year-old weightlifter from Zamboanga City had a small online family reunion on "Unang Hirit," where she spoke to her parents, siblings and pamangkins in Chavacano.

Hidilyn also bared plans to go home to Zamboanga soon, since she has been away for a long time in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

[I'm still up in the clouds, but I know I'm coming home because I miss my mom and dad so much. I haven't been to Zamboanga in such a long time, and I also miss my nieces and nephews so much. Look how many they are!]
