Gary Valenciano goes on birthday hike with daughter Kiana

Gary Valenciano spent his birthday hiking with his daughter Kiana.

On Instagram, Gary shared photos of their adventure in the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California.

"So while some from [the Philippines] were already greeting me a happy bday…I woke up super early to walk with my princess @kianave (her mama was still fast asleep)," he wrote.

"Up to the Griffith Observatory we went. It’s one morning I shall never never never forget. Sarap the bfast Kiana!!! Let’s do it again k? I love you," he added.

He also shared a video of himself enjoying the sun and sand in Crystal Cove, saying it was the first time he's setting foot on a beach in California.

In his caption, he said that he "feels" for the Philippines as Metro Manila is once again placed under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in light of the rising COVID-19 cases.

"My heart goes out to all of you who are in the middle of yet another lockdown.
