Camille Trinidad and Jayzam Manabat, popularly known as JaMill, have deleted their YouTube channel to focus on their relationship.

In a Facebook video uploaded Thursday, the vloggers said it was their “personal decision” after realizing they wanted a normal life.

Simple lang kami,” Jayzam said.

According to Jayzam, they had a small argument before they came to the decision, but wanted to prove to each other and the public that they’re not together just for the sake of the channel.

“Kahit mawala ’yung channel namin, kami pa rin. Nagmamahal pa rin kami,” he said.

With 12 million subscribers on the streaming platform, the couple said they also had a hard time keeping it afloat, especially with just the two of them coming up with ideas.

Camille and Jayzam, who had used their channel to share some of their memorable experiences, said it’s sad that they now had to delete it.

Nothing compared, however, with the ease and peace they felt when they finally did it.

“Nalulungkot ako kasi ’yung memories pero the fact na maialis namin sa pangalan namin na nag-stick lang kami dahil may YouTube, ang sarap sa pakiramdam,” Jayzam said.

More than anything, their decision is for the sake of their relationship, which they hope to last long.

Camille and Jayzam thanked their millions of subscribers who had stayed by their side.

Maraming maraming salamat talaga,” Jayzam said.

As of writing, the video has garnered over one million views and 76,000 reactions. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
