Nicole Donesa gets emotional after Mark Herras leaves for lock-in taping

Nicole Donesa couldn't help but get emotional after husband Mark Herras left for the lock-in taping of his new project.

In a vlog, Nicole said it was the first time Mark would be away from her and their son Corky for more than a month.

Before Mark left, he spent quality time with Nicole Donesa Baby Corky, as documented in the vlog.

The newlyweds enjoyed a nice meal together at a restaurant, but they both got emotional when they arrived home.

“I don't know, I'm excited to work, but I don't wanna leave the house," Mark said.

After Mark's departure,  Nicole did a self-vlog from Baby Corky's play pen but  got emotional while showing everyone where Mark usually sleeps.

"Ever since Corky became so makulit na and so active, we started sleeping here in the play pen, and si Mark eto yung pwesto niya, katabi niya si Corky. Ayan oh! Ayan 'yung kumot niya," the actress said, before tearing up.

"Hala... bakit ganon pag nakikita ko yung mga gamit niya naiiiyak ako," she added.

Mark also checked in from a hotel where he was going to self-isolate for a few days as a safety procedure before taping.

"This is my first time to be gone for more than a month without Corky and Ico. It's hard, I just want to sleep para mas mapabilis ang araw ko," Mark said.

"May work na naman ako, so it's okay to just have to sacrifice ang ibang oras with my family, with my Ico and Corky, [and] I'm sure its gonna be worth it naman," he added.

Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa just tied the knot in a civil ceremony last September 8. 

The couple welcomed their first child, Baby Corky, in February this year.

Mark is now set to make a showbiz comeback after renewing his contract with GMA Network. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
