Kylie Padilla wishes to be in love again ‘in the right time’

Kylie Padilla is ready to fall in love again!

The actress, who recently separated from husband Aljur Abrenica, said she was open to experiencing a new kind of love in the near future.

“I’m not closing my door. Ang sarap ma-in love eh, totoo naman ’yon,” she told Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras” Tuesday. 

[It feels good to be in love, that’s true.]

“I do wish for myself [that] in the right time or whatever, (I’ll fall in love again).”

Kylie also said forgiving was an essential part of moving on.

“It’s about freeing yourself from whatever [you feel] when it comes to that person [because] no matter what you say, feel, or do, if you don’t free yourself from those emotions, [you’re trapped],” she said.

She also said she and Aljur already had an “understanding.” “Kung ano man yung pinagdaanan namin ni [Aljur], may understanding kami.”

[Whatever it is that Aljur and I went through, we have an understanding.]

Earlier today, Kylie reacted to reports Aljur had been dating actress AJ Raval.

She previously clarified that they had “mutually agreed to date other people.”

Guys there is no issue. We separated April pa and we have already mutually agreed to date other people. Please stop dragging other parties into this. I have no intention of disclosing anymore of what happened because I want to cherish the littlest ounce of privacy I have left.

In July, Kylie’s father Robin Padilla confirmed her split with Aljur. She later revealed that she and their kids Alas and Axl had moved to their new “home sweet home.”

She also said she and Aljur were working on a co-parenting setup.
