Inside Marc Pingris’ simple 40th birthday celebration at home

Marc Pingris just turned 40, and he felt blessed to be able to spend it with his family at home.

The star basketball player just shared a pic from his simple birthday celebration with his wife, Danica Sotto, and his kids, Michael and Caela, by his side.

“I couldn’t be more thankful for my 40th year and it is all because you made it so,” Marc wrote in the caption.

“Thank you for for the past thirty-nine years of my life and everything that has been in it. Sa lahat ng mga bumati sa akin mga kaibigan, fans, family, super salamat,” he added.

“Sa mahal ko na si Danica, love you! Salamat sa pag mamahal mo," he continued tagging his wife. "Mic and Caela love you! Sa mga di ko nabalikan para mag pasalamat sorry busy lang. God is good!”

Danica also shared photos from Marc’s small birthday bash, including a cute shot of their cake-smeared faces.

Thanks to online video call, Marc also got a surprise birthday greeting from his loved ones despite travel restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thank you all so much for making Marc’s bday extra special,” Danica wrote in her caption.

“Appreciate all the bday greetings! Thank you TP, angels, dear friends and loved ones for your surprise gift and video!!! Di daw siya naiyak. Naluha lang.”

Marc and Danica tied the knot in 2007.

The couple just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last March.
