7 kilig things we learned about Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque's relationship from their Valentine's Day vlog

In Bea Alonzo's Valentine's Day vlog, she and her boyfriend Dominic Roque shared tidbits about their relationship on Valentine's Day.

The couple gave their viewers all the kilig feels while they answered questions from netizens as they shared a piece of what they are as a couple.

Below are seven kilig things we learned about Bea and Dom's relationship.

1. They have known each other for almost 7 years

Bea and Dom revealed that they have known each other since 2016 and that their common friend Vice Ganda introduced them to each other.

Dom admitted that he had a crush on Bea Alonxo.

"Crush lang that time pero walang expectations," Dom said in the video.

Meanwhile, Bea said her first impression of Dominic is that he is a pleasant person.

"You know why kasi he’s friends with everyone I know," she said. "Tingin ko sakanya loveable siya, likeable siya, tsaka he’s everywhere tsaka cutie pie."

2. Their first date was a spontaneous night out

Dom and Bea said they both came from different weddings and they were sending each other videos of what they are up to.

After the wedding, the two of them went out to eat and have wine at The Fort. According to Bea, the casual date happened in November 2019.

3. Their favorite food is Japanese food

Their favorite cuisine as a couple is Japanese food.

"Siguro kasi 'yun yung special dahil I saw him in a different light when we were in Japan," Bea said.

According to Bea, she went on a spontaneous Japan trip and Dom immediately joined her after learning that she will be having a five-day vacation.

4. Ian Veneracion played a part in their love story

Bea said it was Ian who told her that it would work out if she had Dominic as her boyfriend.

Dom said there was a time when Ian would ask Bea, "What if manligaw sayo si Dom? I-encourage ko ba or idi-discourage ko? Ah sige idi-discourage ko na lang siya."

Ian confirmed through a phone call during the vlog that the conversation did happen and that Bea stopped him when he said that he would discourage Dom to court her and the rest is history.

5. They know and value each other's love languages

Bea said Dom's love language is quality time and acts of service while Bea's love language is words of affirmation and touch.

In the vlog, Dom shared "Napagisipan ko na kailangan talga natin magbigay ng time sa each other, ng quality time tapos ngayon mas pinahirap yung worl 'yung mga lock in lock-in [taping] so kailangan magbigay ng time."

"Dito ko lang narealize sa relationship natin yun yung love language na gusto mong makuha quality time," she said. "So it’s very important to know kung ano love language ng isa't isa."

6. Bea initiated their first kiss

The couple said their first kiss happened at Bea's house.

"Kiniss ako nito," Dominic joked.

Without hesitating to admit, Bea said, "Oo kiniss ko siya."

"Inumaga kami hinatid niya ako sa bahay, ang sakit ng paa ko nun kasi nag-heels ako buong araw tapos kinuha niya yung paa ko tapos minasahe niya yung paa ko tapos naka-tayo na kami noon tapos kiniss ko siya tapos nung una pa ganito yung kiss niya," Bea said gesturing how Dominic reacted.

"Tapos sabi ko baka nagkamali ata ako bakit ko siya kiniss ganyan tapos nag-pullback ako tapos kiniss niya na ako ng totoong kiss," she added.

7. They are united in making their relationship work

Bea said the most important thing about keeping love alive in their relationship is that they are both "united in wanting to make it work all the time."

"Even though may mga obstacles or even though we are facing hard times or sometimes we don't understand each other at all basta united tayo sa idea na we want to make it work," she added. —JAB, GMA News.
