Donita Rose be like: 'I think it’s safe to say I’m seeing someone'

Is Donita Rose seeing someone again?

On Instagram, the US-based celebrity is dropping hints that she might be. It started just a week ago, when Donita posted a selfie, a guy seemingly playfully hiding behind her. His face was hidden but the smile on his face was undeniable.

"I think it’s safe to say I’m seeing someone…," Donita wrote in the caption.

While her friends were obviously happy for her — "Wow! Girl! I’m super happy for you," Ruffa Gutierrez wrote in the comments, as Jackie Forster joked, "That only took 525,600 …years" — Donita posted the photo one week ago, on April 1 aka April Fools Day. We all had to take a precaution.

Here's where it gets interesting: Donita followed it the next day with another selfie. This time, the mystery guy's face is shown in full as Donita said "My plus one for LA Fashion Week."

More friends commented in joy. "Nice," Rufa Mae Quinto said, while Mitch Madrigal wrote "Yayyy!"

Yesterday, Donita posted a couple more photos on IG. The first one showed the two of them looking carefree and lying on the grass. The next photo was a solo and smiling shot... of the same guy!

"The grass seems greener these days, or is it just me?" Donita asked. 

More kilig friends chimed in, chief of whom was Donita Nose. "In lababo ka idol, twinny. Stay in love," she wrote complete with red heart emojis and heart-eyed smileys.

In her latest post some 13 hours ago as of writing, Donita finally revealed the IG handle of her mystery guy.

Posting wacky shots of themselves that showed Donita behind her guy, burying her head on his neck, the Fil-Am celeb began her narration, with what looks like a confirmation of her relationships status:

"After my last post yesterday, this guy called to say he posted these photos. When I saw them, I laughed so hard and asked, 'Why this as an introduction photo'? His response: 'Para habang tumatagal pumopogi ako.' (So as time goes by, I’ll become more handsome)."

"I almost died laughing," Donita said. "That’s @felsonpalad for you peeps," she wrote, finally revealing the identity of her mystery, lucky guy.

A click on the handle shows Felson Palad is a musical artist, a singer also based in California.

On his Instagram account, Donita first made an appearance on his post about the LA Fashion Week.

While he shared the same photo as Donita, Felson's was more forthcoming with his caption, calling Donita "my date."

In the caption, Donita said, "Hi crush."

In Felson's wacky "introduction" photo of her, he wrote, "Twilight! Life is short, we need to believe and know Jesus and fall in love with a person who loves more the Lord than you."

Donita noticeably made a comment, saying "Sobrang dami kong tawa sa explanation mo as to why you chose this pic to post. I’m gonna post it on mine tomorrow and say what you said. You are so crazy."

And she did good on her word and posted the same set of pictures on her main IG feed, complete with handles and stuff.

We don't know guys, but we're happy to see the former MTV VJ so happy and carefree again!

Donita flew back to the US in 2020, the thick of pandemic. She's now a corporate chef for a US-based Filipino supermarket. She has a son, JP, with former husband Eric Villarama. — LA, GMA News
