Roxanne Barcelo reveals celebrating son's 1st birthday where she and husband Jiggs went on their 1st date

For the first birthday of their son Cinco, Roxanne Barcelo and husband Jiggs threw a party at a fast food chain. A choice not out of the ordinary, until Roxanne shared it was where she and her American husband first went on a date.

The Filipina celebrity, who surprised everyone in 2020 when she announced she had already married "the love of my life," took to Instagram late Sunday to share photos of the event and peppered it with nice personal anecdotes.

"Celebrated Cinco’s 1st birthday where Jiggs and I went on our first date, McDonald’s!" Roxanne began.

She recalled it like it was just yesterday: An early breakfast in 2019 comprised of sausage mcmuffins, hashbrown at chocolate. 

"When I first met Jiggs, I had this thought come over me, that he would be the father of my children. Apparently, they are right when they say 'you know from the very beginning'," Roxanne continued.

"Siyempre di ko sinabi agad sa kanya noh. Hinayaan ko muna siya magsabi na ako ang the one niya. ngyawwww.. 'saka ko nireveal lel," she hilariously added.

Three years after that fateful breakfast, here they were again celebrating their son's first birthday.

"I now have my own family in you two. Love you both with all that I am," Roxanne said.

One month after announcing her marriage, Roxanne revealed she was pregnant. Six months later, she shared the wonderful news of having given birth to a baby boy.

It wasn't until December 2021 when Roxanne introduced her husband, Jiggs.

It may have been a bit of a whirlwind, with lots of information and details kept private but boy are we so happy Roxanne is sharing bits and pieces of her love story with us.
