Mavy Legaspi proud of dad Zoren for work in 'Apoy sa Langit': 'I'm so inspired'

Mavy Legaspi has nothing but praise after watching his dad Zoren Legaspi's performance in "Apoy sa Langit."

In his Instagram story, Mavy said Zoren is largely known as an action star and is "given little credit when it comes to drama."

"But with this show, he definitely shut everyone up," he said.

Mavy added that he saw how hard Zoren worked on the show and his character and that "the ratings and comments show it."

"He entered this show wanting to make us proud and he definitely made us proud," he said. "Two amazing shows from mom @mina_villarroel and him."

"I'm so inspired and eager to get started with my next show," he added.

Heartened by his son's words, Zoren posted Mavy's story on his Instagram, expressing his gratitude.

"Mabuti nakikita mo ang aming pag sisikap sa pag ganap ng aming karacter sa aming palabas. Isang karangalan para sa amin na mabati mo kami. Salamat anak," Zoren wrote on his caption.

Zoren plays Cesar in the drama "Apoy sa Langit," which airs Monday to Saturday at 2:30 p.m. —JCB, GMA News
