Kris Bernal ahead of wedding anniversary with Perry Choi: ‘I have never been happier’

Kris Bernal is in a state of bliss as she looks back on a year as husband and wife with Perry Choi.

Sharing an Instagram reel from their special day, the actress could only utter how good life was since they tied the knot. 

“First wedding anniversary is coming,” she wrote in the caption. “I’m going to say right here, right now, in front of everyone, my husband is awesome. I have never been happier.”

“A good marriage takes effort. But it is so worth it,” she continued, adding that COVID-19 “can’t stop true love.”

Kris and Perry exchanged vows at Magallanes Church on Sept. 25, 2021. They have since been taking time to enjoy each other’s company. Just recently, they went on a honeymoon in Europe.

On getting pregnant, meanwhile, Kris previously said they “aren’t planning to have a baby just yet.”
