Buboy Villar opens up about balancing fatherhood and work

At 24, Buboy Villar is a father of two.

And although he co-parents his kids Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael with his ex-partner Angillyn Gorens, he has to balance that responsibility with work.

"As a father, gusto ko maging maayos ang future ng anak namin," he said in an interview during the 'Signed for Stardom' event on Tuesday.

"Workaholic ako," he added. "Bata pa lang ako, 'yung mindset ko tumulong sa family ko."

Buboy said things can get tough, but it's all about perseverance, not just for his family but also his job.

"Mahirap to, pero 'pag meron kang tiyaga, saka meron kang pagmamahal sa ginagawa mo, basic lang lahat, promise," he said.

That said, he said that he is planning to spend more quality time with his kids. He is looking forward to celebrating Christmas with them.

"Susulitin ko oras sa mga anak ko, kasi syempre nasa stage na sila na ang bilis na ng panahon... ilang taon na lang mas matangkad na sila sakin," he added.
