David Licauco says he's been hurt and left behind in some of his past relationships

David Licauco debunked misconceptions about himself in the latest episode of "Updated With Nelson Canlas."

When Nelson asked, "Hindi ka raw na-busted ever, true or false?"

"False," David answered. "Na-busted na ako, siguro a couple of times."

"Na-busted ako, nasaktan na rin ako, naiwan na rin ng babae, so hindi totoo 'yun," he added.

According to the Kapuso actor, he fights for the relationship until the very end.

“Ako kasi 'yung type na parang na-gi-give up lang ako kapag sagad na sagad na. Kung baga [parang] I don't have regrets later on,” he said. “So 'yun, talagang mina-maximize ko na sige ipaglaban natin ‘to, let's fight for this, let's fight for this. Until you reach a certain point na parang in one snap, parang ah okay...parang hindi nga talaga.” 

When asked if he was speaking theoretically or from experience, David revealed he's already had five exes.

David then got real and added that heartbreak is the worst feeling, and that seeing exes with their new partners can hurt.

“Kasi meron kang sense of attachment doon sa taong nakarelasyon mo.”

Later on in the interview, David was asked whether he had a girlfriend in showbiz.

“Yeah, one, isa,” David revealed.

Although she was not named, David said, “taga ABS-CBN siya.”
